Overview

Aquarina Beach & Country Club is the golf and tennis club inside Aquarina, a gated community on the barrier island south of Melbourne Beach that stretches from the Atlantic to the Indian River Lagoon. Housing ranges from oceanfront homes and condos to riverfront houses and 18 neighborhoods of villas, townhomes and single-family homes.

The 18-hole, par-62 course, which GolfN credits to Charles Ankrom and dates to 1996, winds through the community past lakes, mangroves and live oaks and can be played in under three and a half hours. It sells memberships with preferred tee times and also takes public play.

The club also runs six Har-Tru tennis courts with resident and outside memberships, bocce courts and the Aqua Bar & Grill, which is open to the public. Community amenities include a beach club with private beach access, a fishing dock and boat launch on the river, and a fitness center.
