Overview
Isleworth Golf & Country Club is a private golf community in Windermere, southwest of Orlando, covering roughly 600 acres along the Butler Chain of Lakes. The property was acquired by investor Joe Lewis in 1993.
The golf course opened in 1986 to a design by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and was reworked by Steve Smyers in 2003. It plays to par 72 and stretches to about 7,544 yards from the longest tees. For a decade it hosted the Tavistock Cup, an exhibition between professionals from Isleworth and its sister club Lake Nona.
The club's Mediterranean-style clubhouse of about 89,000 square feet houses several dining venues, and members have a spa, fitness center, infinity-edge pool, a tennis center with clay courts and a padel court, and private docks for lake access. Sculpture by artists including Henry Moore is placed around the grounds.
