Overview

The Country Club of Florida is a private golf club in the Village of Golf, a small municipality west of Boynton Beach. It opened on December 1, 1956, on a former dairy farm that golf architect Robert Bruce Harris had identified; the club credits Carleton Blunt with founding it, and it soon drew a national membership.

The 18-hole, par-72 course was remodeled by Arthur Hills in 1987 and renovated again in 2006 under Lester George, who deepened and enlarged the lakes and increased the bunkers to 83 while keeping the routing. Stymie lists about 6,981 yards from the back tees. Play is generally limited to members and their guests.
