Overview

TPC Sawgrass is a resort golf facility in Ponte Vedra Beach operated by the PGA Tour, which has its headquarters on the property. It opened in 1980 and has hosted The Players Championship every year since 1982.

The Players Stadium Course, designed by Pete and Alice Dye, plays to par 72 at about 7,250 yards. The second course, Dye's Valley, was designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed with Jerry Pate and hosted the Web.com Tour Championship from 2013 to 2015. The site also hosted the 1994 U.S. Amateur.

Although primarily a resort and tournament venue, TPC Sawgrass sells an annual Dye's Valley membership and a social membership.

Membership

The Community

Courses sit inside the gated Sawgrass Players Club community of about 1,560 residences in 16 neighborhoods; TPC membership is optional and separate from home ownership.
