Overview

Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club is a private golf and boating club in east Boca Raton. It was founded in 1959.

The course was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones and has since been renovated as a Jack Nicklaus Signature course that plays to more than 7,000 yards. The club notes that Sam Snead was its first golf professional. A 60-slip marina is a central feature.

Membership is by invitation, and members choose the candidates. The club says members do not have to live in the adjacent Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club neighborhood. Other facilities include five dining outlets, a wellness and fitness center, tennis, pickleball and spa services.
