Overview

Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City Beach is home to the Nicklaus Course, which the club describes as the only Nicklaus Design layout in Northwest Florida. Bruce Devlin originally designed it in 1986 as Lagoon Legends, and Nicklaus Design renovated it in 2005.

The par-72 course plays about 7,100 yards from the back tees. It hosted a U.S. Open qualifier in 2016, serves as a home course for Florida State's women's golf team, and reopened in March 2019 after cleanup from Hurricane Michael.

The club sells golf memberships alongside public tee times and runs a men's golf association, instruction and junior clinics.
