Overview
Woodmont Country Club is a golf and country club in Tamarac, west of University Drive and north of McNab Road. Its original clubhouse was destroyed by fire in 1977, and in 2014 the city approved converting part of the golf land into about 150 single-family homes alongside a new clubhouse.
According to a 2019 local news report, the new clubhouse includes a banquet hall, gym, pool, restaurant and tennis, alongside 27 holes of golf, and the club sells social, sports and golf memberships while also allowing non-member play.
