Overview

Water Oak Country Club Estates is a gated community for residents 55 and older in Lady Lake, Lake County, built around its own 18-hole golf course. It covers about 300 acres and has more than 1,300 manufactured homes, with an expansion adding 267 more.

The course was rebuilt in a project that broke ground in February 2022 and reopened in February 2023 with a redesign by Sanford Ferris Golf Designs; it now plays to par 70 and about 6,100 yards. Two clubhouses hold a restaurant and pro shop, and residents also have two pools, pickleball and tennis courts, a fitness center and a busy activity calendar.
