Overview

Continental Country Club is a gated community for residents 55 and older in Wildwood, Sumter County, on Highway 44 near The Villages. Homes are manufactured homes, and owners hold title to both the home and the lot beneath it.

The community is built around an 18-hole, par-72 course by Ron Garl that opened in 1972 and is run as a semi-private club. Residents also have a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant, an Olympic-size pool, boat docks and ramps, a fitness center, tennis and shuffleboard.

The Community

Gated 55+ community of manufactured homes on Highway 44 between Leesburg and Wildwood; residents own both their home and its lot, and golf-course and waterfront lots are available.
