Overview

Deer Island Golf & Lake Club is an 18-hole, par-72 Joe Lee design that opened in 1994 on Deer Island, a 400-acre island between Lake Dora and Lake Beauclair near Tavares. The course plays to about 7,029 yards from the back tees.

The island is a gated residential community with an HOA, and homes along the course are listed for sale. Golf membership is optional for homeowners, and the course is also open to the public.
