Overview

Evans Prairie Country Club opened in the fall of 2012 in the Village of Collier, part of the Brownwood region of The Villages. It has 27 holes arranged as the Killdeer, Osprey and Egret nines, with six tee sets ranging from roughly 3,800 to just over 7,000 yards.

Water shapes many of the holes, and the developer singles out the par-5 eighth on the Killdeer nine, which runs along Evans Prairie Lake toward the clubhouse. The club has a pro shop, pool, dining and outdoor seating.
