Overview

Sandpiper Golf Club is a private 27-hole club in Sun City Center, the 55+ community in southern Hillsborough County. Directories also list it as the Sun City Center South Course. Its three nines, the Lakes, Oaks and Palms, trace to a Mark Mahannah design from the late 1960s, with a third nine added later.

Sun City Center opened in 1962 as a Del Webb retirement community and has several golf clubs; a Sun City Center guide notes that which clubs a resident can join depends on where they live in the community.
