Overview

Fairways Country Club is a semi-private course on East Colonial Drive in east Orlando that is open to public play. The 18-hole, par-70 layout was designed by Bill Amick and built in 1972.

At about 5,200 yards from the back tees it is short, but water comes into play on 15 holes and the greens are small. The par-5 fifth, with water on both sides and a crossing short of the green, is regarded as its signature hole.
