Overview
The Founders Golf Club is a private golf club community in east Sarasota. Its 18-hole, par-72 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 2005, playing to just over 7,000 yards from the back tees.
According to developer London Bay Homes, the community has 262 homesites on roughly 700 acres of lakes, fairways and preserves. The 24,000-square-foot clubhouse has fine and casual dining, a fitness center and Har-Tru tennis courts.
