Overview
The Colony Golf & Country Club is a private club inside The Colony, a gated community of just over 1,000 homes and condominiums on Estero Bay in Bonita Springs.
Its par-72 course was designed by Jerry Pate and, according to Golfn, opened in 1999. The playing surfaces were converted to Platinum Paspalum in 2017. Practice areas include a range, short-game area and practice bunker.
Golf membership is limited to 275 members. A sports membership allows a set number of rounds in season and offers a path onto the golf waitlist. The club also has six Har-Tru tennis courts, a fitness center, a pool and several dining venues.
